Who we are

Vestry is a personal style operating system developed and operated by Christian Stenbo, based in Norway. References to "Vestry", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to this service.

What data we collect

We collect the data you provide directly: your email address (used for authentication), and the wardrobe data you register — including item descriptions, images, and usage records. We also collect basic usage information to maintain and improve the service.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate The Vestry — to power your wardrobe inventory, outfit recommendations, and curator interactions. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in Stockholm (EU North 1), within the European Economic Area. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. AI processing uses the Anthropic API; conversational content may be transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing but is not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the request.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@vestry.no.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are based in the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly.

Cookies

The Vestry uses authentication tokens stored in your browser's local storage to maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will notify active users of material changes by email.
